There are healthy fat people out here! Any of you want to shout out? I am a BBW who is very healthy and I am tired of people always implying that we are unhealthy people. Yes we all know that there are many bad things about our weight, but what about some of us that are healthy and still large? What do you thing?

Your motivation is your health. The fact that your blood results are so good now is wonderful, as a nurse though, I have seen that all go down the drain quickly. I have to force myself to get out and walk/run after a 12 hour shift, but it is because I want to avoid health problems that I do it. Believe me you don't want to experience what I see every day

I am healthy, too! As a matter of fact, I am at the gym almost every night...I do an hour of hard cardio (treadmil elevated to MAX and the rowing machine) then I do weights for 30 minutes! And, if I have the energy, I walk my dog another two miles! Oh, and did I mention I eat healthy, too? Fruits, veggies, LOTS of water, less carbs....Some of us are just naturally large people....It doesn't make us lazy or mean we don't care about our health or appearances. It just means we (sometimes) don't more...I am healthy, too! I understand how you feel. When I had my accident and my blood pressure went up because I was in consent pain, they said it was my weight and didn't believe I had never had high BP in my life. Also whenever I needed something equipment to help me get around, they always told me I needed special order even if I didn't weight close to the min weight for the larger equipment.
Nat, I started with Walk Away The Pounds DVD and exercise bands. It gets you moving with 1, 2, or 3 Mile walks and arm e more...I understand how you feel.
